KALAMAZOO, Mich. (WSYM) - A 21-year-old man has been fatally shot in Kalamazoo near Western Michigan University's campus.
It happened around 2:15 a.m. Saturday.
The victim was shot in the torso and was taken to the hospital where he later died.
Police do not believe the victim was a student at Western Michigan University.
The Kalamazoo Department of Public Safety have released the photo of a person of interest in the homicide.
Witnesses told investigators the shooting occurred during a fight and that another man ran away after firing the shot.
