A man is facing felony assault charges after allegedly throwing an axe at a man.
It happened Sunday in Waterloo Township in Jackson County. Police say the suspect was arguing with a woman when another man attempted to break it up. That's when police say the suspect threw the axe, cutting the man in the leg.
The suspect's name won't be released until he's formally charged.
