MSP says he was arraigned the same day on charges of aggravated distribution/promotion of child sexually abusive material, aggravated possession of child sexually abusive material, and two counts of use of a computer to commit a crime.

Johnson was arrested after the ICAC task force investigated the online trading of child sexually abusive material using peer-to-peer networks, according to a release from the MSP.

"The investigation led to Johnson’s home in Ingham County. A search warrant executed at the residence yielded multiple internet capable devices and other evidence. After the seized evidence was examined, an arrest warrant was issued for Johnson," they said.

He turned himself in on Sept. 26.
