A man charged in a northern Michigan car crash that killed three passengers is awaiting sentencing after entering a plea deal in the case.
MLive.com reports 29-year-old Gordon Stuck of the Detroit suburb of St. Clair Shores pleaded no contest Tuesday to one count of operating while intoxicated causing death. A no contest plea isn't an admission of guilt but is treated as such for sentencing.
He faces up to 15 years in prison when sentenced on May 23 in Roscommon County Circuit Court.
Authorities say Stuck was driving around 1:30 a.m. Oct. 20 when the car hit a deer. Investigators say that he lost control and the car struck some trees before stopping. The crash killed his passengers, who were in their 20s, and left Stuck seriously injured.
