LANSING, Mich. (WSYM) - Power was knocked out to dozens of Lansing Board of Water and Light customers early Saturday after a driver ended up on the sidewalk.
It happened around 4:00 a.m. on Martin Luther King Blvd. near the Greenwood Ave intersection. Police say the driver lost control, ended up on the sidewalk, knocking down a utility pole. They say the man continued driving down the sidewalk until he crashed into a tree. Officers say the man walked away with minor injuries.
BWL crews have since restored power.
