UPDATE (4:30 p.m.) - The Napoleon Township Police department says family has been notified and they are releasing the name of the man who was killed in an accident at the intersection of Brooklyn Road and Clark Lake Road Sunday afternoon.
Daniel Joseph Yensch, 63-years-old from Carleton, Michigan, was driving the motorcycle and pronounced dead at the scene.
His wife, Kathy Blanche Yensch, 62, is still in in critical condition, according to police.
Napoleon Township Police Chief, Duaine Pittman says they were not wearing helmets.
The accident remains under investigation.

Police are reporting that a woman is in critical condition after her husband died Sunday in a crash in Jackson County.
The 64-year-old Carleton man was on the motorcycle with his 62-year-old wife when the accident occurred. He was pronounced dead at the scene, his wife was thrown from the bike.
It happened at 2:54 p.m. on Sunday, September 16, at the intersection of Brooklyn Road and Clark Lake Road in Napoleon Township.
Police are reporting that a black car driven by a 46-year-old woman rear-ended a white car driven by at 40-year-old woman. The white car was waiting to make a left onto Clark Lake Road and was pushed into the path of the motorcycle causing the fatal accident. It struck the motorcycle head-on.
Both drivers went to the hospital to be assessed.
It does not appear that alcohol or distracted driving were a factor.
The accident remains under investigation.
