A second person arrested in the 2005 shooting death of a 21-year-old man in Saginaw is denying involvement in the slaying.

The Saginaw News reports 33-year-old Charles Edward Miles of Flint was arraigned Monday on charges including first-degree premeditated murder and felony murder. Miles told the court: "I'm not guilty and I haven't been doing anything."

Miles is jailed without bond ahead of his next hearing.

In April 2005, Terrance Winters was found fatally shot in his home after an attempted robbery.

Another man has been awaiting an April 14 trial on charges related to the killing. Jeramie C. Tucker faces felony murder, armed robbery, conspiracy to commit armed robbery and other charges. He was extradited from Kentucky in 2016. His trial has been delayed three times.
