Just before 7:00 p.m. Monday officers were dispatched to the 300-block of South Washington for a shooting.
When officers arrived they found a 27-year-old male victim.
He was taken to the hospital, and later died of his injuries.
No one is in custody, and police do not have a description of a suspect at this time.
