A Lansing man has been convicted of second-degree murder in connection with the death of another man.
A jury found Ricky Thomas guilty Monday in the killing of Lorenza McKinney Jr.
Police found McKinney unconscious at an apartment on South Butler Boulevard on January 6, 2017. McKinney was rushed to the hospital where he later died and officers arrested Thomas at the scene.
The Lansing State Journal reports Thomas will be sentenced in Ingham County Circuit court next month.
