Man chased to Jackson High School charged with four felonies

The man who led a police chase into the Jackson High School parking lot is facing four felonies.

Jamahl Armstrong was charged Friday with fleeing and eluding, possession of drugs with intent to deliver, resisting and obstructing, and felon in possession of a firearm.

Video taken by a student shows deputies wrestling Armstrong to the ground on Wednesday.

Police had been chasing Armstrong when he drove into the high school parking lot and allegedly threw a bag of drugs out of his car.

He is due back in court next Friday.
