Ingham County prosecutors have filed charges in Tuesday's shooting on Baker Street in Lansing. Keon-Tavin McCoy was arraigned on one count of being a felon in possession of a firearm and one count of using a firearm to commit a felony. They have not said if McCoy will face any additional charges.

He's due back in court for a probable cause conference on July 27. A preliminary hearing is scheduled for August 3.

The shooting happened on the 800 block of Baker Street around 12:30 Tuesday morning. Lansing police say shots were fired outside the home after an argument during a gathering. McCoy was shot in the leg.

Police described him as uncooperative at the time. They told us they arrested him on charges related to the shooting but not for the shooting itself.

A 48-year-old man was hit by a stray bullet. He is expected to recover.

Police are still looking for the other person involved.
