A 37-year-old Lansing man has been charged in connection with at least two of the Subway robberies we've been tracking for you.
Corey Michael Stewart was arraigned earlier this week on two counts of armed robbery. Lansing police say he is responsible for robbing the Subway in the 1600 block of Michigan Avenue on Sunday, January 15 and Wednesday, January 18. Police say Stewart was arrested without incident on Thursday, January 19.
We are working to find out if Stewart is connected to other Subway robberies in the mid-Michigan area, including ones in East Lansing and Delta Township. Once we know more, we'll be sure to update you.
