The man accused of firing his gun into the air outside an East Lansing bar early Monday morning has been formally charged.
On Wednesday, 34 year-old John Derengoski of East Lansing was arraigned on five charges, including "possession of a firearm while under the influence" and "discharging of a firearm." He's behind bars on a $250,000 bond.
Police say Derengoski was drunk when he fired shots in the air outside Reno's East and again outside his home.
No one was hurt.
