MERIDIAN TOWNSHIP, Mich. — Thomas Allen Thrush, 39, has been arrested for child sexual activity in Meridian Township
Police are reporting that the first incident occurred on April 9, 2019, when three girls were approached by an unknown man in the 4800 block of Marsh Road in Okemos.
The man asked them if they wanted to film an adult movie in his van, which was described as a 2002 white Ford Windstar with gray along the bottom and tinted rear windows.
The girls ran from the scene and contacted police.
Police came to the location, searched the area, but were unable to find the suspect.
Then on May 5, 2019, Meridian Township Police were dispatched to the 4800 block of Marsh Road in Okemos.
This was after an officer recognized the subject from the April 9th incident.
The suspect was running after a female to catch up to her.
Officers called to the scene located the suspect.
Thrush fled from officers as they began to question him.
Officers apprehended Thrush after a short foot chase.
On Tuesday, Thrush was arraigned in 55th District Court and charged with one count of child sexual abusive activity and one count of resisting and obstructing.
Thrush is currently lodged at the Ingham County Jai.
His bond was set at $75,000 cash or surety bond and a $500 bond with conditions of no unsupervised contact with a person under the age of 18.
