LANSING, Mich. — A man is behind bars after he attempted to rob a Quality Dairy store at gunpoint Thursday.
Officers with the Lansing Police Department got the call just after 11 p.m. for a reported robbery attempt at the QD located at 5100 S. Waverly Road.
A responding officer saw the suspect and then chased him on foot.
The suspect was taken into custody shortly after.
“We are thankful that everyone stayed safe and that the Lansing Police Department was able to take the suspect into custody immediately,” says Ken Martin, Quality Dairy President and Co-CEO.
No one was hurt in the incident.
The suspect's name will not be released until he's arraigned.
