The man accused of tying up and robbing an 84-year-old woman in Jackson County has been arrested.
The 36-year-old Eaton Rapids man was arrested in Allegan county on Tuesday after a wild police chase that ended with him crashing into a tree.
The Jackson County Sheriff's Office says he broke into the woman's house in Tompkins Township Saturday, tied her up and stole her car. While he was on the run, the man allegedly stole two more cars and broke into five other homes in the Kalamazoo area.
The man has been hospitalized and police are not releasing his name.
