On Saturday, Sept. 15, Jackson Co. put out an alert to be on the lookout for a driver nodding off in his car.
Then a tip came in to the Jackson Co. dispatch of a man, sitting in his car in front of a gas pump at a gas station, apparently sleeping.
When they arrived at the station, they saw the 61-year-old man in his car.
He resisted arrest.
The deputies found heroin and crack cocaine on his person.
The man is currently lodged at the Jackson Co. Sheriff's department.
