A man is the reason a Jackson school went into lockdown Monday.
Frank Ford was arraigned on charges on Tuesday, including felony firearm and resisting arrest.
Police say he was walking with a gun near First Street and Franklin on Monday afternoon. He ran off as officers showed up. They found a loaded assault rifle and a mask.
The incident put T.A. Wilson Academy on a brief lockdown. Police say Ford has no connection to the school.
