Monday Hobert Jones Jr., 51-years-old, was arraigned on a charge of Attempt Kidnapping, which is a five year felony.
In February of 2017 an 11-year-old girl reported that someone attempted to grab her after telling her to come to his apartment. She escaped on her bike, and rode home to get help.
Jones was identified as a person of interest at the time of the attempted kidnapping, and was arrested without incident on August 4, 2017.
Jones is being held in the Ingham County Jail on a $5,000.00 bond with a GPS tether requirement if bond is posted.
