Lansing police are searching for the man who held up a Super 8 motel on the city's south side early Tuesday.
Lansing police say the robbery happened at 2:20 a.m. at the motel on American Road in Lansing.
Police say the man was armed with a gun when he demanded cash. After getting some money, he left. Nobody was hurt. Lansing police set up a perimeter and brought in a canine unit early this morning to try and catch the suspect. The suspect however, is still on the run.
Lansing police are still investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call the Lansing Police Department.
