The Eaton Rapids man accused of tying up an 84 year old woman in Jackson County and stealing her car was arraigned on several felony charges Monday.
Tracy Ott is charged with assault with intent to rob while armed, carjacking, first degree home invasion, unlawful imprisonment, larceny of a firearm, and felony firearm.
The charges stem from an October 28th incident, in which Ott allegedly broke into an 84 year old woman's home in Tompkins Township, tied her up and stole her car.
Ott was arrested in Allegan County last Tuesday after a police chase that ended with him crashing into a tree. While he was on the run, Ott allegedly stole two more cars and broke into five other homes in the Kalamazoo area.
Ott is due back in court on November 21st.
