Man accused of killing cyclists arraigned

A man has been formally charged in the deaths of two bicyclists last fall.

76-year-old Raymond McKnight was arraigned on two counts of committing a moving violation, causing the deaths of 62-year-old Deborah Patterson and 66-year-old Mary Massengill.

He's accused of crossing into the bike lane on  Wamplers Lake Road in Jackson County, hitting Massengill and Patterson last October.

McKnight is due back in court next month.
