The man accused of assaulting a police officer and resisting arrest was arraigned on some charges Thursday.
Robert Toth is charged with resisting and obstructing in Eaton County. He was arrested after a lengthy standoff with police in Grand Ledge on Tuesday.
Authorities had been looking for Toth since early Monday morning, when he allegedly assaulted and tased a Lansing Township police officer who tried to arrest him on a felony warrant. The officer had been investigating reports of larcenies in the area, and said Toth was wearing gloves and carrying a flash light.
Along with the charges in Eaton County, Lansing Township Police Chief Adam Kline says Toth has three felony warrants in Ingham County: unarmed robbery, assault, and possession of a taser. Kline does not know when Toth will be arraigned on those charges.
