Makeup salesman insulting women around Lansing

Posted

A makeup salesman carrying purple bags has been seen around Lansing insulting women who refuse to buy from him.

Ariella Hirsch and her mother were walking out of the West Lansing Target when this man approached them selling makeup. It was then when Hirsch and her mother said, "no, thank you."

According to Hirsch, that is when things took a turn for the worst. The makeup salesman went off on them, and did not show them his license to sell goods.

Delta Township has a specific ordinance for vendors to have a license to sell and to have a visible identification for people to see.

After Hirsch and her mother left the Target parking lot, she went to Facebook with her encounter, and that's when the comments started to roll in from others who encountered this man.

Eaton County Undersheriff Jeff Cook says if you encounter someone like this, to ignore them/go back into the store you came out of, and call the police.
