For the National Basketball Hall of Fame, it takes a Hall of Famer to induct a Hall of Famer. Unfortunately for Michigan State basketball fans, the most famous player in school history will be unable to induct it's most popular coach.
Hall of Famer Earvin "Magic" Johnson will be unable to induct Tom Izzo during the September 9th ceremony in Springfield, Massachusetts as it coincides with his 25th wedding anniversary and Johnson will be out of the country.
Johnson was also asked by Shaquille O'Neal to induct him into the Hall of Fame.
