LANSING, Mich. — The Lansing Police Department is investigating an early morning gas station robbery on the city's east side.

Officers were called to the Speedway gas station, 1923 East Michigan Avenue around 4 a.m. Wednesday for a report of a robbery.

Lansing police said a man walked into the store, pulled out a gun, and ordered workers to go to the back of the store.

The suspect was wearing a mask and a black or blue hoodie with red writing on it.

He ran away with an undisclosed amount of money before police arrived, police said.

No one was hurt.

A K9 unit was called in to track the suspect but the track was not successful.

No arrests have been made.
