LANSING, Mich. — A local woman, Bonnie Kalahar, has found a creative way to memorialize infants who do not survive their first days: she uses material from old wedding dresses to create memorial gowns for them.
The woman has donated dozens of these gowns to Sparrow as a touching tribute to the infants and their families. She will showcase the gowns and explain why she’s undertaken this labor of love. Interviews available with the woman and Sparrow officials, along with b-roll of gowns.
