Almost 16 years after the u-s invaded Afghanistan to take out the Taliban and Al Qaeda ... President Trump will announce a decision on the future of the war.
"I'm just not sure what we are still doing there, I'm sure what the exact mission is, they tell us that we are fighting radical Islamic terrorism, we are trying to rid the world of these evil people but this war has been going on for so long now and it seems like its never ending it seems like there is no way out."
Kathleen Walter has signs in her yard asking everyone to support the troops -- but she doesn't support sending more of them to Afghanistan.
"There are gonna be millions of more people that are gonna be innocently hurt and damaged."
She's had relatives serve in almost every conflict from world war two to Afghanistan -- and wants to see our resources put to work elsewhere.
"Collaborate and connect with other countries to build a better, safer, environmentally friendly, free of air pollution, water pollution, land pollution, there is no need for any of this.
Even veterans who don't think we should be sending more troops into the war zone say we need to get behind the decision no matter what it is.
"I appreciate them all, i will always support our troops even if I don't support the presidents decision in sending them."
