Three more people gunned down at a synagogue in Pittsburgh last weekend will be laid to rest Thursday.
On the same day, many will come together at a local synagogue to honor those lives lost.
East Lansing synagogue Congregation Shaarey Zedek will hold a prayer vigil Thursday in response to Saturday's shooting at the Tree of Life Synagogue in Pittsburgh.
The event at Shaarey Zedek will be a Jewish service and the traditional Jewish prayers will be said, but the service is open to all community members.
The service will take place from 7:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at Congregation Shaarey Zedek located at 1924 Coolidge Road, just south of Lake Lansing Road, in East Lansing.
