LANSING, Mich. (WSYM) — Dozens of local kids will get their chance to get in the holiday spirit early on Wednesday when they join local police officers and firefighters from Jackson and Ingham County as part of the annual Shop with a Hero event.
Each child selected will get a gift card to buy whatever they want at stores in Jackson and Mason on Wednesday night.
Other departments have taken part in other Shop with a Hero events across mid-Michigan already.
