Local pastor who was tied up gives police description of suspects

STOCKBRIDGE, Mich. — An incident went down at the Stockbridge Good Shepherd Church on Wednesday morning.

Two armed men entered the church and tied up a pastor who was asleep in his bedroom.

One of the men was armed with a stun gun.

The police were called to the scene at about 4 a.m. to find the Pastor injured from the stun gun.

They told FOX 47 News that he was struck several times with the stun gun.

The pastor said he was tied up by the men before they left the church with some money.

A person that was staying in the church was able to untie the Pastor and call 911.

The church is described as a busy one with a lot of foot traffic from people who have fallen on hard times.

The pastor is described as someone who looks out for people and is generous. They say he refused medical treatment on the scene.

The subjects are described as white men - one 5'5" tall and weighing 140 lbs. and the other is just over 6' tall and between 250-300 lobs.
