Local non-profit expands its housing expertise with property management venture

LANSING, Mich. — Volunteers of America Michigan, provider of affordable housing for families and seniors across the state, is expanding its reach. VOAMI’s comprehensive housing portfolio contains 13 different facilities spread across the state, from Detroit all the way to Lake Michigan. They specialize in quality property management because they own the properties they operate. No one knows them better, and they are moving the expand their expertise to companies looking for property management services.

On the national side, Volunteers of America currently serves as the largest provider of affordable senior housing and one of the largest for affordable family housing. The non-profit was founded in 1896 and has continued to expand its reach and expertise and has been providing housing services in Michigan since the 60s.
