A Jackson judge hands down a lengthy sentence to a Jackson man convicted in an armed home invasion.
Willie Anderson was sentenced to 20 to 40 years for assault with the intent to rob while armed, home invasion and felony firearm.
Anderson will be in prison at least 26 years for those charges.
He broke into a home on Mound Avenue in October of 2013 and threatened a woman with a gun.
The crime comes just nine months after he was paroled for manslaughter in the shooting death of a store clerk during a robbery in 2006.
Anderson will also serve out the sentence he was initially paroled on.
