Valentine's Day is always a busy day at flower shops, but when it's on the holiday weekend, it can be a little slower.
Thankfully, the owner of B/A Florist in East Lansing says even though they don't get as much foot traffic when Valentine's Day lands on a Sunday, the store get plenty of orders online, and that helps.
A lot of people will also order flowers for the next day back at work, because people like to show them off.
B/A Florist owner Laurie Van Ark told us the temporary workers are the store this season are actually customers.
"Some of the people that help us out, they're actually customers of ours that love coming in here," said Van Ark.
The next big day for the florist is graduation day at Michigan State University. Van Ark says, since it's so close to campus, they get a lot of families looking to mark the big day with flowers.
