A father is arrested after allegedly abusing his daughter in Jackson County.
Sheriff's deputies responded to a call Monday at 11:30 p.m. on East State Street in the Village of Hanover.
A six-year-old female was found in the home with visible injuries.
The suspect was her father, who was in the home with her when deputies arrived.
The little girl was taken to Henry Ford Allegiance Health for her injuries, and later flown by helicopter to Mott’s Children’s hospital where she is at this time.
The 46-year-old father was arrested and stayed the night at Jackson County Jail on allegations of child abuse.
