LANSING, Mich. — A local family is displaced after their house caught fire earlier Thursday evening.
Authorities responded to the home on stabler street in Lansing just before 8 p.m.
They tell FOX 47 News the home's interior was heavily damaged.
No one was in the home at the time of the fire.
A family of two adults and five children were living in the home. They're now being helped by the Red Cross.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
