LANSING, Mich. — An art festival is underway in Lansing right now featuring street artists.
'Below The Stacks' is a citywide mural festival with artists representing from Lansing, Detroit, Chicago, and New York.
Artists are tasked with finding visible blank walls and turning them into colorful works of art.
The participating artists were chosen to represent Lansing's diverse communities.
Besides live mural painting, there will also be workshops for families, tours, lectures, and more.
On September 21, an all ages hip hop show will end the festival.
The show will reveal a video montage of all of the murals painted.
The events are free to the public.
