Legislation approved to fight human trafficking

Backers of legislation approved by the Michigan House say it would force many public places to post human trafficking notices to help fight the booming global enterprise.

The measure passed 95-8 on Wednesday would require notices in state rest stops, public buses or train stations, strip clubs, airports and elsewhere.
