A reminder for Jackson residents - If you have leaves in your yard that you want to get rid of, today is the day.
The first bagged leaf pickup for part of the city starts Saturday morning.
Residents are required to use their own biodegradable bags and place them by the curb.
The collection has been split into three geographic sections, with the southeast section starting Saturday.
If you live in that area and miss the first round of leaf pickup, you'll have to wait until the next round starts on November 12.
