An iconic part of the Lansing Community College campus is coming down.
The college is demolishing this air-ventilation shaft commonly known as The Mushroom.
In its place will be the Granger Tower, named for the Founders of Granger Construction.
The family's foundation is paying for it.
The tower will be part of LCC's 60th anniversary celebration this year.
