LANSING, Mich. — The search for the next president of Lansing Community College is nearing its end.
The presidential search committee has narrowed the field of candidates to four. The search comes after President Brent Knight announced his retirement last summer following more than a decade of leading the college.
The four to advance in the search process are:

Steve Robinson

Owens Community College
Lisa Webb Sharpe
Executive Vice President
Lansing Community College
“We are pleased with the high-quality candidates, all of whom are equipped to lead LCC into the future,” said Robert Proctor, LCC Trustee and chair of the presidential search committee. “Each of the finalists is poised to address our opportunities and challenges.”
The finalists will be interviewed by the Board of Trustees virtually in light of the current COVID-19 health crisis. Background and reference checks will be conducted and open forums and campus visits will take place virtually in the coming weeks. The Board of Trustees expect to have a candidate selected by June 30.
