LANSING, Mich. — Students at Lansing Community College gathered in the Gannon building Tuesday for a belated celebration of black history month though poetry.
The event aimed to highlight poetry as an art form and showcase its history of giving a voice to resistance.
It is a part of an array of special events.
There is another poetry event Wednesday in room 2214 in the Gannon building from 2 to 4 pm it is free and everyone is welcome.
