LANSING, Mich. — A rare opportunity to see a unique collection of works by African American artists.

Lansing Community College is exhibiting the Mott-Warsh collection from Flint.

It is a chance for students and people in the Lansing region to enjoy some beautiful pieces as part of LCC's celebration of the 400th anniversary of the African American History Commission.

LCC President Brent Knight says "This art is especially important because it's art by African-American artists and all to frequently that their art was not seen and appreciated, so we're delighted to bring this art to this community. "

The exhibit will be on display at the downtown campus in the Grand River Room in the Gannon building.

You can see it through the end of April.
