Cronin says within hours of applying it, her lips feel like sandpaper, she says by the next day she had a rash and had to see a doctor.
The lawsuit claims the makers of EOS lip balm deceived the public and seeks damages.
EOS insists its products are safe and approved for use by the federal government.
It says the lawsuit is without merit.
