LANSING, Mich. — Michigan lawmakers are working to put an end to porch pirates.
Lawmakers are expected to vote Thursday on two bills that would create new felony punishments for repeated mail or package theft.
The first offense is still a misdemeanor, but a second or third offense could result in five to 10 years behind bars.
