State lawmakers will get behind the wheel at the state capitol Tuesday to see the dangers first hand of distracted driving.
They'll be taking part in AT&T's virtual reality experience aimed at teaching the deadly consequences of distracted driving.
There will also be a memorial wall, a wall of keys representing those killed by distracted driving and a wall made to look like crushed car parts on display at the Capitol.
AT&T research found nearly nine out of 10 people admit to using their smartphones while driving.
The event takes place at 11 a.m.
