Lansing now has deals in place with two electric scooter companies. Mayor Andy Schor says the city signed a short term agreement with the "Bird" company today, identical to the one it signed with the "Lime" scooter company earlier this month. The policy caps the amount of scooters to 250 per company, and lays ground rules for where people can ride them.
