A Lansing woman will spend at least nine days in jail for her role in a local dog fighting ring.
Synquiss Antes was sentenced Monday morning to probation, community service, and 180 days in jail. Antes is not allowed to own animals, leave the state, or use alcohol while on probation.
Investigators seized more than 50 dogs from mid-Michigan homes as part of the dog fighting investigation. Four others are also facing charges in connection to the ring.
