Lansing Township Police are working with the Lansing Township Fire Department to investigate a case of arson that happened on Wednesday, July 26, 2017 at the Wal-Mart on the 3200 block of Towne Centre Blvd.
The fire began around 11:30 and was extinguished by people shopping at the store and no one was injured. There was some property damage in the store.
The investigation is ongoing and the Lansing Township Police Department is looking for information regarding the arson or the identity of possible witnesses to the incident. Surveillance cameras got a photo of a man who may have seen what happened; police would like to speak to him.
