LANSING, Mich. — Lansing is one of 10 cities that will be taking part in a $12 million initiative to boost economic mobility, that is help people make more money and bring more money to the area.
The project is funded by the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation and the Ballmer Group.
The 18-month initiative will identify economic barriers and ways to increase wealth and income levels.
The other cities participating include Detroit, Cincinnati and New Orleans.
